Two easy villages, no rush
Limeni first — a small natural harbor right below Areopoli, with the Mavromichalis clan tower overlooking the water and a couple of tavernas on the waterfront for lunch. Then Kitta, close by and easy to reach, home to some of the oldest surviving towers in the region.

Deep Mani switchbacks — Vathia's towers
The village everyone's seen a photo of — a dense cluster of stone towers on a ridge, mostly abandoned, with no electricity until the 1980s. The road in is narrow switchbacks; if you'd rather not drive it yourself, a guided day tour from Areopoli covers this and the rest of deep Mani with hotel pickup included.

Diros Caves, then the coast at Gerolimenas
Go early for Diros — the boat route queue builds by midday. Continue on to Gerolimenas for the afternoon, or detour to Kokkala for its pebble beach below the village; both are reasonable stops to break up the day with the water.
